Returns pOLICY

The Floor Collection Ltd. - Returns Policy 2023

Goods supplied can only be returned by prior arrangement and will be confirmed in writing.

Buyer must notify The Floor Collection with any request to return Goods by email at sales@floorcollection.co.uk within 2 days of the date of delivery.

The Floor Collection charge an admin fee of £25.00 plus VAT, this is additional to any manufacturer’s restocking charges for returns.

Conditions, fees and Re-Stocking charges for the return of Goods, are all subject to the manufacturer’s individual Returns Policies/Procedures. (For further detailed information, please see below).

V4 RETURNS POLICY

V4 in its sole discretion may allow Buyer to return Goods after Delivery on condition;

(a) that the Goods have not been removed from their packaging or have been in any way modified, altered, installed or otherwise reduced to a condition whereby they are not saleable in the reasonable opinion of V4.

(b) the Goods are not Bespoke Goods. These are bound by the Ts&Cs clause 9 Special Orders:Bespoke Goods on V4 website www.v4woodflooring.co.uk

(c) the Goods are returned at Buyer’s cost and expense within 30 days of the date of delivery.

(d) Buyer pays a restocking fee, of 20% of the total price of the Goods returned.

MAGNUM & ESSENCE RANGE’S RETURNS PROCEDURE

You have the right under Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel the contract and receive a full refund in respect of all goods purchased, except customised goods. You have 14 calendar days, starting on the day after you receive the goods, to cancel your contract in accordance with the Returns Procedure. We do not accept the return of part orders.

Goods will be subject to restocking charges.

Goods should be checked thoroughly on arrival. Damages discovered after you have signed the POD can be applied for as a claim if reported alongside photographic evidence within 2 working days. These are referred to as ‘hidden damages’ and are sent for approval and dealt with as individual cases. Please Note: not all claims are guaranteed; applications will be rejected if damages are not deemed to be hidden.

  • Written agreement should be obtained before returning goods.

  • Goods need to be in fully resalable condition (open and/or part packs will not be accepted for return).

  • Anything returned with signs of use or unreasonable handling will be deemed unsellable or unable to be sold for the same price. Under these circumstances, we are entitled to deduct the cost in value for any unsellable Goods.

  • Opening 1-2 Packs may be necessary to check suitability, however opening or fitting additional packs of the same item, will be deemed as

    unreasonable handling.

If your contract is cancelled, and your refund of Goods accepted, we will authorise any refunds due within 14 days of receipt of the Goods,

Once your return has been approved, you will receive a ‘Returns Authorisation Number’ and details of an address to which the items should be returned within 14 days. Goods you are returning must be labelled with your name, address, order number and Returns Authorisation Number.

Any return you send is at your own cost and risk. The goods must be re-packed securely, and larger orders will need to be palletised.

We suggest using an insured courier service where a signature is required by the receiving party, we are not responsible for Goods lost in transit or damaged during transportation.

Faulty Goods

Any deliveries that are either damaged or not containing the correct quantity of Goods must be signed as such on the POD. We must then be notified in writing with a copy of the POD within two days via email. If this is not adhered to no claim will be entertained by us.

Settlement of any claim will be limited to the value of the Goods.

Credit damages cannot be issued in certain cases, until Goods have been returned to us.

Returns

Goods are supplied as ordered and cannot be returned to us except with prior agreement.

Customer will need to return the goods by their own arrangements at their own cost.

A restocking charge of 15% shall be levied.

All returned goods must be suitably wrapped, strapped and protected for transportation prior to a return being requesting. Goods not handled in such a way will not be credited.

In event of the goods being damaged on route to us during the returns arrangement, the customer will be required to provide documentation signed by the collection driver, confirming that they were collected in good condition.

If the goods returned are not in a fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on Goods.

Bespoke items that are delivered as per order, are not returnable under any circumstances.
